Igarashi Motors cuts emissions 50% with renewable energy push

Igarashi Motors India Limited cut Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 50% in FY 2024-25 while achieving 85% renewable electricity usage.

The company increased total renewable energy consumption to 56,300 GJ, with non-renewable energy falling to 16,341 GJ. R&D expenditure on environmental improvements through BLDC motors reached ₹218 lakhs, with capital expenditure of ₹588 lakhs.

The manufacturer recycled 4,982.73 metric tonnes of its 5,062.14 metric tonnes total waste generation.
