Mahanagar Gas merger approved by tribunal

Mahanagar Gas Limited announced that the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench, has sanctioned the Scheme of Amalgamation of Unison Enviro Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, with Mahanagar Gas. The order, dated July 9, 2025, approves the merger filed under Sections 230 to 232 of the Companies Act, 2013. The Scheme will become effective upon filing of the certified order with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra. The merger is expected to result in operational synergies, cost rationalization, and more efficient capital utilization. The authorized share capital of Transferor Company is INR 15,00,00,00,000. The authorized share capital of Transferee Company is INR 130,00,00,000.
