Websol Energy promoter releases pledge on shares

Websol Energy System has announced that Websol Green Projects Private Limited, acting as a promoter, has partially released its pledge on company shares. A total of 200,000 shares and 300,000 shares were released on June 26, 2025, from pledge earlier. Before the release, Websol Green Projects held encumbrances on 2,150,380 shares, representing 5.09% of the total share capital of Websol Energy. Following the release, the remaining encumbered shares are 1,950,380 and 1,650,380 respectively. The pledge originally served as a guarantee for borrowing loan by S L Industries Pvt Ltd, and for borrowing loans. The disclosure was made under SEBI's Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers Regulations, 2011.
