Visaka Industries releases business responsibility and sustainability report

Visaka Industries has released its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for the financial year 2024-25, forming part of its 43rd Annual Report. The BRSR, available on the company's website, details Visaka's performance against National Guidelines on Responsible Business Conduct (NGRBC) principles. Key activities include manufacturing cement roofing sheets (57% of turnover), fibre cement boards and panels (28%), and Wonder Yarn (14%), alongside ventures in ATUM Solar and sustainable product retail. The report emphasizes sustainable sourcing, waste reduction, and employee well-being. Exports contributed 7.5% to the total turnover. The company spent INR1525.79 Crores in turnover with a net worth of INR750.74 Crores. Visaka aims to further embed sustainability across its operations.
