Tata Motors' global wholesales dip in first fiscal quarter

Mumbai, July 8, 2025 – Tata Motors Group announced its global wholesales for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, totaling 299,664 units, a 9% decrease compared to the same period last year. The figure includes Jaguar Land Rover sales. Tata Motors' commercial vehicle and Tata Daewoo range experienced a 6% decrease, reaching 87,569 units. Passenger vehicle wholesales, inclusive of electric vehicles, amounted to 124,809 units, a 10% decline year-over-year. Jaguar Land Rover wholesales also saw a decrease, with 87,286 vehicles sold, reflecting an 11% decrease compared to Q1 FY25. Specifically, Jaguar wholesales stood at 2,339 units, while Land Rover contributed 84,947 units.
