Ircon appoints interim chief vigilance officer

IRCON International announced today that Shri Vivek Varshney, Executive Director Vigilance (Mechanical) of the Railway Board, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), effective July 8, 2025. This appointment, made pursuant to a Ministry of Railways order, will last for six months or until a permanent CVO is appointed, whichever comes first. As a result, Shri Varshney will become part of the Senior Management Personnel. Shri Varshney is an IRSME (2005) Officer and has worked in Western Railways in the past.
