Indian bank employees plan strike in early July

Punjab National Bank (PNB) disclosed that the Indian Banks Association (IBA) informed them of a planned strike on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, by members of the All India Bank Employees' Association (AIBEA), All India Bank Offices Association (AIBOA), and Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI). The strike, if it materializes, could disrupt the bank's daily operations at its branches and offices. PNB stated they have taken measures to maintain business continuity, while complying with Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
