JSW Energy boosts capacity with renewable energy commissioning

JSW Energy announced today the commissioning of 261 MW of renewable energy capacity, comprising 189 MW of solar and 72 MW of wind power. This addition brings the company's total installed capacity to 12.8 GW. The company's total locked-in generation capacity now stands at 29.9 GW, including operational, under-construction, and pipeline projects. JSW Energy is constructing power projects to the tune of 12.5 GW with the intention of increasing the total power generation capacity to 30 GW by 2030. JSW Energy aims to have a capacity of 30 GW and an energy storage capacity of 40 GWh by FY2030 and achieve Carbon Neutrality by 2050.
