Goa Carbon appoints additional woman independent director

Goa Carbon Limited has announced the appointment of Dr. Kshama Fernandes as an Additional (Non-Executive Woman Independent) Director, effective July 7, 2025, for a term of 5 consecutive years. This appointment follows the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and is subject to member approval. Dr. Fernandes is the non-Executive Vice Chairperson of the Northern Arc Group and brings over 30 years of experience in management, risk advisory, and academia. Prior to joining Northern Arc, she was a professor at the Goa Institute of Management. The company confirmed Dr. Fernandes is not related to any existing director and is not debarred from holding the office by any SEBI order or authority.
