Sun Pharma research unit launches wholly owned biotech subsidiary

Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company (SPARC) has announced the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary, Genokine Biotech Limited, on July 4, 2025. The new entity will operate in the research and development sector, focusing on both human and non-human applications, including veterinary, agricultural, and industrial products. Genokine Biotech has an authorized and subscribed capital of INR 100,000. SPARC will subscribe to 10,000 equity shares of Genokine Biotech at INR 10 each.
