Voltamp highlights sustainability, renewable energy transition in annual report

Voltamp Transformers has released its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report for the fiscal year 2024-25, emphasizing its commitment to integrating sustainable practices across its operations. The company aims to source 100% of its electricity from renewable sources by FY 2026-27 and achieve net-zero GHG emissions by 2030, with rooftop solar installations already underway. Voltamp highlights efforts to achieve net-zero waste to landfill by 2027 and promote recycling of all process waste. The Company is also aiming for 15% female participation in its workforce by 2027. For the financial year, exports accounted for 2.03% of Voltamp's turnover, with investments in R&D being reported as INR 43 Crore. The company confirmed in the report that they comply with all applicable environmental laws and guidelines in India.
