ICICI Prudential fund increases stake in Sona BLW past 5%

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has disclosed a substantial acquisition of shares in Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd, increasing its stake beyond 5% of the company's paid-up capital. According to a regulatory filing on July 2, 2025, the fund acquired 355,097 shares on July 1, 2025. As a result, total holdings have reached 3,13,66,049 shares, representing 5.05% of Sona BLW's total equity. The acquisitions are solely for investment purposes with no intention of seeking controlling interest. The equity share capital/total voting capital of the TC after the said acquisition* is INR6,21,71,79,750 comprising of 62,17,17,975 shares of face value INR10/- each.
