Shriram AMC invests INR 4.97m in MF Utilities India

Shriram Asset Management Company Limited (BSE: SRAMSET) announced an investment of INR 4,965,000 for the acquisition of 500,000 equity shares in MF Utilities India Private Limited (MFUI). The decision, approved by the Finance and Investment Committee on July 2, 2025, involves acquiring shares with a face value of INR 1 each, priced at INR 9.93 per share. This investment will result in Shriram AMC holding a 2.43% stake in MFUI post-issuance, up from 2.50% pre-issuance. The move is aimed at enabling Shriram AMC to be represented in Shareholder meetings with voting rights and potential representation in the MFU Board. The transaction is expected to be completed by September 30, 2025.
