Nestle India expands Maggi production amidst EGM notice

Nestle India is expanding its production capacity with a new Maggi Noodles line at its Sanand, Gujarat factory. The addition aims to boost overall capacity to meet future demand. The expansion will add approximately 20,300 tons per annum to the existing capacity of 100,700 tons per annum, which is currently utilized at 77%. The investment for this expansion is estimated at INR 105 crore, financed through internal accruals, and is expected to be completed within Financial Year 2025-26.
