Sona Comstar reports 12% revenue growth in FY25, expands horizons

Sona BLW Precision Forgings (BSE: 543300) announced a 12% increase in revenue to INR 35,545 mn for fiscal year 2024-25, alongside a 16% rise in profit after tax to INR 6,012 mn. The company expanded into the railway component market through the acquisition of the Railway Equipment Division from Escorts Kubota. It is developing powertrains for eVTOLs and components for humanoid robots, signaling a broader diversification strategy. Revenue from battery electric vehicles (BEV) increased by 38%, accounting for 36% of total revenue.
