Ashok Leyland's total vehicle sales up 3% in June 2025

Ashok Leyland (BSE:ASHOKLEY) announced a 3% year-over-year increase in total vehicle sales for June 2025, with 15,333 units sold compared to 14,940 in June 2024. Cumulative sales for the year reached 44,238 vehicles, a 1% increase over the previous year. Domestically, the company sold 14,184 vehicles, a slight decrease of 1% compared to June 2024. However, the M&HCV Bus segment experienced a significant 56% increase in sales to 3,172 units, with total M&HCV sales increasing 3% to 9,829 units. LCV sales also saw a moderate 2% increase. The company's strong performance in the M&HCV bus segment and LCV segment contributed to its overall growth.
