** J.B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals [BSE: JBCHEPHARM] has announced US FDA approval for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Amitriptyline Hydrochloride Tablets USP (10mg, 25mg, 50mg, 75mg, 100mg, and 150mg), used for treating depression. The approval coincides with a share purchase agreement with Tau Investment Holdings Pte. Ltd., where Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited will acquire 74,481,519 equity shares (46.39%) for a total consideration of INR119,17,04,30,400.
