Himadri invests USD 4.43m in battery company stake

Himadri Speciality Chemical (BSE: 500184) has finalized its USD 4.43 million investment for a 16.24% stake in International Battery Company, Inc. (IBC), a Delaware-based corporation. This acquisition, initially announced on May 22, 2025, positions Himadri in the burgeoning battery technology sector. The investment covers the purchase of 600,000 common shares from an existing shareholder, and the subscription of 2,100,000 common stock, and 379,175 Series A Preferred Stock in IBC.
