Godrej Seeds & Genetics increases stake in Godrej Industries

Godrej Seeds & Genetics Limited, acting in concert with other promoters, has acquired additional shares of Godrej Industries (BSE: GODREJIND), increasing their total holding. The acquisition, made via open market purchases, involved 600,000 shares, raising the acquirer's stake from 70.76% to 70.94% of the total share/voting capital. Before the acquisition, the number of shares carrying voting rights was 23,82,75,422. The equity share capital of Godrej Industries before the acquisition was INR 33,67,52,089 consisting of 33,67,52,089 equity shares. The diluted equity share capital after the acquisition is INR 33,68,92,669.
