Suzlon Energy: Promoter group shareholding changes after family restructuring

Suzlon Energy [BSE:SUZLON] announced a change in its promoter group's shareholding structure. The move comes as a result of the dissolution of Ranchhodbhai Ramjibhai HUF, Ranchhodbhai Ramjibhai Family Trust, and The Tanti Trust. Rambhaben Ukabhai, already part of the promoter group, will indirectly acquire 634,996,730 equity shares (4.64%) through Tanti Holdings Private Limited (THPL) and 365,856,353 shares (2.67%) through Samanvaya Holdings Private Limited (SHPL). After the transaction, the total promoter and promoter group shareholding remains unchanged at 1,608,685,603 shares, representing 11.74% of the company’s equity. This inter-se transfer within the promoter group will not affect the overall control of the company.
