Zydus Lifesciences invests in Torrent Urja Private Limited

Zydus Lifesciences (BSE: 532321) announced today that the company and its subsidiaries have invested an aggregate amount of INR 38.65 million in the equity shares of Torrent Urja 25 Private Limited under Tranche 1, representing 22.06% of its paid-up share capital. This investment involves the subscription of 38,64,792 equity shares. The company also stated that the investment in Torrent Urja 26 Private Limited under Tranche 1 is expected to be completed within the next 60 days. This move follows Zydus Lifesciences entering into a Share Subscription and Shareholders' Agreement ("SSSA") to subscribe to the equity shares of both Torrent Urja entities.
