IREDA's insolvency application against Gensol Engineering admitted

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) [BSE:IREDA] has announced that the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) Ahmedabad has admitted its application under Section 7 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, to initiate corporate insolvency resolution process against Gensol Engineering Limited. The application, initially filed on May 14, 2025, was admitted on June 13, 2025. The default amount claimed by IREDA in the application is INR 510,00,52,672. IREDA has also filed an insolvency application against Gensol EV Lease Limited, a subsidiary of Gensol Engineering Limited and the application was admitted on June 13, 2025, for a default amount of INR 218.95 Crore. IREDA has requested that this information be recorded under Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
