ICICI Bank boosts stake in ICICI Prudential, sets AGM

ICICI Bank [BSE:ICICIBANK] announced that its Board of Directors has approved the purchase of up to 2.0% additional shareholding in ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited, in a filing dated June 27, 2025. This acquisition is intended to maintain the Bank's majority shareholding, especially considering potential stock-based compensation grants within ICICI Prudential. The Board also approved holding the Thirty-first Annual General Meeting (AGM) on August 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. IST via video conference. The AGM notice and annual report for 2024-25 will be distributed electronically to shareholders with registered email addresses, and access will be provided via a web link to those without registered emails. August 12, 2025, is the record date for dividend eligibility.
