Axis Bank appoints Kedar Joshi as new chief audit executive

Axis Bank (BSE: 532215) has disclosed the appointment of Kedar Joshi as its new Chief Audit Executive for a three-year term, commencing June 23, 2025, and concluding on June 22, 2028. Joshi replaces Bimal Bhattacharyya, who will be transitioning to another role within the bank, ceasing his responsibilities as interim Chief Audit Executive on the same date. Joshi brings over 25 years of experience in risk and internal controls, previously overseeing audit coverage for Bank of America's APAC franchise. The changes are in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.
