CG Power secures major 765kV transformer order from PGCIL

CG Power and Industrial Solutions (CGPOWER.BO) has secured a significant order from the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) for the supply and servicing of 765kV Transformer Package 7TR-12-Bulk. The contract, valued at approximately INR 6.41 billion, involves the procurement of 765/400 KV 1-ph Transformers. The supply of goods is expected to be completed over a period of 18 to 36 months. This order represents the single largest order received by CG Power and will further strengthen the company's foothold in the transformer business. CG Power, part of the Murugappa Group, is a major player in the electrical engineering industry, manufacturing transformers, switchgears, motors, and other related products. The company reported consolidated revenue of INR 99.09 billion for fiscal year 2025.
