ICICI Prudential MF exceeds 5% stake in Star Health

** ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund (the Fund) has increased its stake in Star Health and Allied Insurance Company (BSE:STARHEALTH), exceeding the 5% threshold of the company's paid-up capital. On May 2, 2025, the Fund acquired 1,385,269 shares, bringing its total holdings to 3,0544,057 shares, or 5.2% of Star Health's equity. According to a disclosure under Regulation 29(1) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011, the Fund stated that the acquisitions are for investment purposes and not aimed at seeking control of the company. The total equity share capital/total voting capital of Star Health is INR5,877,864,590, comprising 58,778,6459 shares with a face value of INR10 each.
