NTPC's total capacity jumps to 80,155 MW

NTPC Limited [BSE: NTPC] announced that the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC group will reach 80,155 MW. The increase follows the declaration of Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the final 60 MW part capacity of a 150 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project undertaken by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL). NTPC REL is a stepdown subsidiary of NTPC Limited, operating through its subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Limited. The final capacity was declared as commercially operational effective April 16, 2025, based on a certificate issued by the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) on April 30, 2025.
