Ircon secures INR 458 crore project from NEEPCO

IRCON International (IRCON) announced today that it has received a Letter of Acceptance from North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) for "Package-l: Construction of Civil Works on Item Rate for Tato-l Hydro Electric Project, Arunachal Pradesh". The project, valued at INR 458,14,42,765.23, involves extensive civil engineering work, including headworks, headrace channel, intake, headrace tunnel, surge shaft, pressure shaft, valve house, powerhouse, and associated infrastructure. The project is domestic in nature and is expected to be completed within 45 months. This contract reinforces IRCON's presence in the hydropower sector and demonstrates its capabilities in executing large-scale infrastructure projects. The announcement was made on May 2, 2025.
