NTPC subsidiary commissions 75 MW green energy capacity

NTPC announced today that its subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy Limited, has declared the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for 75 MW of renewable energy capacity, effective May 2, 2025. This capacity is part of IRCON Renewable Power Limited (IRPL), a joint venture with Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd. The commissioned capacity is cumulative 225 MW out of a total of 500 MW plant capacity. With this addition, the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC group now reaches 80,095 MW. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
