K.P. Energy orders Senvion wind turbines for hybrid project

K.P. Energy Limited (BSE: KPEL) has placed an order for 20 of Senvion India's advanced 4.2WM M160 wind turbine generators. These turbines, part of the 4XM platform, will be installed in Bharuch district, Gujarat, as part of a hybrid power project. Deliveries are expected in the fourth quarter of FY 2025–26. The agreement includes supply, supervision, operations and maintenance. Senvion India's 4.2M160 model, optimized for low wind conditions, features a 160-meter rotor and hub heights up to 140 meters, with over 85% localisation under the "Make in India" initiative.
