Sona BLW extends Escorts Kubota acquisition closing date

Sona BLW Precision Forgings (BSE: SONACOMS) announced an extension to the closing date for its acquisition of the Railways Equipment Business (RED) from Escorts Kubota Limited. Initially expected to close on May 1, 2025, the closing date has been moved to June 1, 2025. This extension is subject to the fulfillment of precedent conditions specified in the Amended and Restated Business Transfer Agreement between the two companies. The announcement was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company has previously provided intimations regarding this acquisition, dating back to October 23, 2024, and February 10, 2025, in accordance with SEBI circulars.
