Deccan Gold commences work on Chhattisgarh nickel licence

Deccan Gold Mines Ltd announced the commencement of exploration activities at its Bhalukona-Jamnidih Ni, Cr and PGE composite licence in Chhattisgarh. The company's work will begin with composite licence boundary demarcation and will also include obtaining prior consent from individual landowners in areas where trenching and drilling are planned, and ground geophysical, geological, and geochemical work will be done. The company will prepare survey controls for drone magnetic geophysical surveys, with the goal of delineating potential mineralization zones. Deccan Gold received a work permit for the project on April 9, 2025. Deccan Gold Managing Director, Dr Hanuma Prasad Modali commented that the latest and most advanced geophysics will be used to delineate potential mineralised zones.
