Tata Power to develop 131 MW hybrid project

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power Company, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Tata Motors to develop a 131 MW wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project. The project will generate approximately 300 million units of clean electricity annually, offsetting over 200,000 tons of CO2 emissions each year. This collaboration marks a significant step for Tata Motors toward achieving its RE-100 commitment ahead of its 2030 target. The power generated will exclusively supply Tata Motors' six manufacturing facilities, supporting the production of both commercial and passenger vehicles.
