NHPC's Parbati-II hydroelectric project fully operational

NHPC [BSE:NHPC] has announced the commencement of commercial operations for the entire Parbati-II Hydroelectric (HE) Project, located in Himachal Pradesh. The company declared commercial operation of Unit #4 (200 MW) of the project effective April 16, 2025, at 00:00 hours. This follows earlier announcements regarding the commercial operation of Unit #1, Unit #2 and Unit #3 (200 MW each) from April 1, 2025. With all four units now operational, the total installed capacity of the Parbati-II HE Project reaches 800 MW.
