LIC raises stake in Bank of Baroda to 7.053%

** Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has disclosed an increase in its stake in Bank of Baroda (BSE: BANKBARODA) to 7.053%, according to a filing made under SEBI's Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers Regulations, 2011. The acquisition involved 104,541,403 shares. This represents a 2.022% increase. The shares were acquired through market purchases conducted between November 20, 2023, and April 16, 2025. Post-acquisition, LIC's total holding in Bank of Baroda amounts to 364,758,678 shares. The equity share capital of Bank of Baroda before and after the acquisition remains unchanged at INR 10,34,27,24,358.00.
