Suzlon secures 100.8 MW wind order from Sunsure Energy

Suzlon Energy has announced a significant 100.8 MW wind power project order from Sunsure Energy. The project involves the supply of 48 of Suzlon’s S120 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a 2.1 MW capacity, featuring Hybrid Lattice Towers. Suzlon will oversee equipment installation, project execution, and provide comprehensive operations and maintenance services. The project is set to be executed in Maharashtra's Jath region and will help Sunsure Energy deliver Round-The-Clock power to its customers. This collaboration supports India's ambitious target of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. In a related announcement, Suzlon’s Securities Issue Committee approved the allotment of 99,000 equity shares under its Employee Stock Option Plan 2022. The shares were issued at an exercise price of INR5 per share, realizing INR495,000 and increasing the company's paid-up capital to INR2,729,76,51,018.
