Powergrid commissions Raipur-Dhamtari transmission project

Power Grid Corporation of India (POWERGRID; BSE: 532898) announced the successful commissioning of its Raipur Pool Dhamtari Transmission Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. The project was secured through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding and implemented as part of the "Transmission System associated with Western Region Expansion Scheme-XXVII (WRES-XXVII)". Commercial operations commenced on March 26, 2025, following the receipt of the Notification for Commercial Operation (DOCO) on April 16, 2025. This development marks a significant step in strengthening the transmission infrastructure in India's Western Region.
