NHPC appoints independent directors to board

NHPC Limited (BSE: NHPC) announced the appointment of Shri Anil Kumar Sood, Dr. Uday Sakharam Nirgudkar, and Shri Jiji Joseph as Non-Official Independent Directors to its Board. This appointment, effective from the date of notification, is for a term of one year or until further orders, whichever occurs earlier. The appointments are in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations 2015. Shri Sood is a Chartered Accountant and gold medalist, Dr. Nirgudkar is a marketing and management expert, and Shri Joseph has a background in business and advertising.
