Petronet LNG appoints Saurav Mitra as finance director & CFO

Petronet LNG [BSE:PETRONET] announced the appointment of Shri Saurav Mitra (DIN: 07684414) as Director (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer, a key management personnel role within the company. The decision was formalized during the Board of Directors meeting held on April 16, 2025, based on recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and with the approval of the Audit Committee. Shri Mitra's tenure will span five years from the date of assuming the position, and the appointment is set to succeed Shri Vinod Kumar Mishra, whose term expires on April 18, 2025. With more than three decades of experience, Shri Mitra is aged 56 years is an Associate Member of Institute of Cost Accountant of India (ACMA). He held a key leadership position of CFO, at Lanka IOC PLC. and Executive Director (Internal Audit) at IOCL.
