LIC elevates key officials to senior management roles

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), trading under BSE: 543526 and NSE: LICI, has disclosed the elevation of two key officials to Senior Management Personnel (SMP) roles. Mr. Joseph Uthup, formerly Regional Manager (Marketing) for the Hyderabad Zonal Office, has been appointed as Executive Director (Strategic Business Unit - International Operations) at the Central Office in Mumbai. Mr. Jayasimhan Madabhushi Matam Tirumala, previously Regional Manager (Marketing-Chief Life Insurance Advisor) at the Hyderabad Zonal Office, now assumes the role of Chief (in-charge), Board & Secretarial, also at the Central Office in Mumbai. Both appointments are effective April 16, 2025. Mr. Uthup brings extensive experience, including a stint as General Manager at Kenindia Assurance Company in Nairobi, while Mr. Tirumala has held various key positions within LIC, including Divisional Manager roles and Secretarial positions.
