IRFC reappoints Vallabhbhai Patel as independent director

Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) [BSE: IRFC] announced the reappointment of Shri Vallabhbhai Maneklal Patel (DIN: 07713055) as a Non-official Independent Director, following the Ministry of Railways' approval. The appointment, effective April 16, 2025, was made by the Board of Directors via resolution by circulation. The company confirmed that Patel is not debarred from holding the office of Director by any SEBI order and is not related to any Director/KMP of the company, holding NIL shares of IRFC. Patel brings extensive experience from his association with Shri Ganesh Ginning & Pressing Factory since 1998, representing various industry forums. He holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce from Gujarat University and has served in leadership positions at financial and educational institutions, including Kadi Nagrik Sahakari Bank Limited and Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal.
