Union Bank appoints Anil Kuril as chief information security officer

Union Bank of India (BSE:UNIONBANK) announced the appointment of Shri Anil Kuril as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), effective April 15, 2025. Shri Kuril, a Bachelor of Engineering from DAVV Indore, brings over 30 years of banking and information technology experience to the role. He holds a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification. Prior to this appointment, Shri Kuril held the positions of Head of Central Audit & Inspection and General Manager - IT Department within the bank. He has also completed a Leadership Development Program at the Indian School of Business (ISB) and a certification program in IT & Cyber Security for Senior Management from IDRBT, Hyderabad. This announcement adheres to Regulation 30 and 51 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
