Airtel partners with Blinkit for 10-minute SIM delivery

Bharti Airtel (BSE:BHARTIARTL) today announced a collaboration with Blinkit, a quick commerce platform, for delivery of SIM cards to customer doorsteps within ten minutes for a nominal convenience fee of INR49. The service is initially live in 16 major cities across India, with plans for expansion, and enables swift and secure activation through a self-KYC process. Once delivered, customers can activate the SIM card through Aadhaar-based KYC, choosing between postpaid or prepaid plans, or initiating a Mobile Number Portability (MNP) request. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, providing a seamless and hassle-free transition for Airtel customers. The company assures customers that the SIM activation needs to be done within a 15-day window.
