NHPC commissions Rajasthan solar project; Parbati-II project fully operational

NHPC has announced significant milestones in its renewable energy portfolio. The company has commissioned a 300 MW grid-connected solar PV project at Karnisar in Rajasthan, with commercial operations beginning on April 12, 2025, for a partial capacity of 107.14 MW. Trial runs and COD for the remaining capacity of the project will be intimated in due course. The commissioning of this project underscores NHPC's commitment to expanding its solar power generation capacity.
