Welspun Corp completes sale of 10% Nauyaan Shipyard stake

Welspun Corp (BSE:WELCORP) announced today the completion of the sale of 10% equity shares in Nauyaan Shipyard Private Limited ("NSPL"). The transaction, initially disclosed on April 10, 2025, has resulted in the company receiving INR 54.63 Crores, comprising INR 51.72 Crores towards equity and INR 2.91 Crores covering outstanding dues. Following the sale, Welspun Corp retains a 16% equity stake in NSPL. This strategic divestment provides Welspun Corp with additional capital while allowing continued participation in Nauyaan Shipyard.
