Power grid appoints Abhay Bakre as govt. nominee director

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (BSE: 532898) announced the appointment of Shri Abhay Bakre, Mission Director, National Green Hydrogen Mission, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), as a Government Nominee Director on its board, effective April 11, 2025. This appointment follows an order from the Ministry of Power. Consequently, Shri Lalit Bohra, Joint Secretary, MNRE, has ceased to be a Government Nominee Director on the board from the same date. The company is taking necessary steps to complete the statutory formalities and will disclose further details as per SEBI regulations.
