InterGlobe Aviation: Unclaimed dividends deadline approaching for shareholders

InterGlobe Aviation (BSE: INDIGO) has issued a notice to its equity shareholders regarding unclaimed dividends from fiscal years 2017-18 and 2018-19. The company is urging shareholders to claim their unpaid dividends before the stipulated deadlines to prevent the transfer of both the dividend amounts and the corresponding shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Demat Account, as mandated by Section 124 of the Companies Act, 2013. Specifically, dividends for FY 2017-18, declared on August 10, 2018, must be claimed by September 9, 2025, while dividends for FY 2018-19, declared on August 27, 2019, have a claim deadline of September 26, 2026. Shareholders are advised to contact KFin Technologies Limited, the company's Registrar and Share Transfer Agent, with the necessary documents to process their claims. The company emphasized that no claims against InterGlobe Aviation will be entertained regarding shares transferred to the IEPF.
