JSW Energy completes acquisition of O2 Power's 4.7 GW platform

JSW Energy Limited (BSE: JSWENERGY), through its wholly-owned subsidiary JSW Neo Energy, has successfully completed the acquisition of O2 Power Midco Holdings Pte. Limited and O2 Energy SG Pte. Limited. The acquired platform comprises a 4.7 GW renewable energy portfolio. The enterprise valuation of the deal is approximately INR12,468 crores. JSW Energy anticipates a steady-state EBITDA generation of INR1,500 crores from 2,259 MW of capacity expected to be operational by June 2025. The acquisition will further require approximately INR13,500 crores of capital expenditure to reach 4,696 MW by June 2027, with an anticipated annualized EBITDA of INR3,750 crores. The acquisition increases JSW Energy's installed capacity to 12,212 MW, with renewable energy accounting for 6,554 MW (~54% of total). The acquired platform includes 4,100 MW of utility-scale RE projects and 596 MW of C&I capacity.
