HUDCO signs MoU with MMRDA for infrastructure development

Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on April 8, 2025. Under the terms of the MoU, HUDCO will explore funding opportunities, potentially providing up to INR 1,50,000 Crore over five years for infrastructure projects within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The agreement also encompasses HUDCO's provision of consultancy services and capacity building initiatives to support the MMRDA's evolving needs. The signing ceremony was attended by key dignitaries including Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Eknath Shinde, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister, Maharashtra, and Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman & Managing Director of HUDCO.
