Hindustan Zinc shares see encumbrance release

Axis Trustee Services Limited, acting as trustee, has announced the release of 32,32,11,858 equity shares of Hindustan Zinc (BSE:HINDZINC) from encumbrance. This represents approximately 7.65% of Hindustan Zinc's equity and voting capital. The releases occurred through pledge releases on various dates, including June 5, 2024 (2,40,00,000 shares), July 31, 2024 (10,32,37,916 shares), August 6, 2024 (5,65,38,415 shares) and April 3, 2025 (13,94,35,527 shares). Following these transactions, the total number of shares under encumbrance stands at 4,27,90,960 shares, or 1.01% of the company's capital. The disclosure was made pursuant to Regulation 29(2) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. Hindustan Zinc's equity share capital remains at 8,450,638,000 shares, divided into 4,225,319,000 shares with a face value of INR 2 each.
